Mike, his horse Gus & family
Renae After 19 years of marriage, I was surprised to find out my husband Mike wanted to buy a horse. We found Gus, a registered paint, and he quickly stole my husband’s heart. Nine years later, we still have Gus, and as you can see in the photo, he is still very much a part of the family.I also wanted a horse I could call my own. A friend of mine found Caleb, a 15 year old 1/2 Arab, 1/2 paint gelding. He has been such a joy!

Falco came into my life in the fall of 2008 at the stable I began working with when we moved to Louisiana.
On one occasion when another gelding began acting like a stallion, squealing & striking out toward me – Falco cantered over from the other side of the pasture to put himself between me & the other horse.
I have never seen a horse with such courage and heart.
